The girls supposed to learnt how to cook with mum… start with simple cooking here, I will just cook whatever I can find at home. Well as for today I have a pack of Tagliatelle All’uovo. It is like chinese egg noodles or “mee-pok” but made in Italy. Ingredients: Tagliatelle All’uovo 3pc Tomatoes - small 3pc Potatoes - big 1pc meat (chicken or pork) Garlic - 3pc pine nuts Italian Herb, sugar, pepper, white wine, half bowl of water Prep for Tagliatelle All”uovo Boil water, put the Tagliatelle All”uovo in to cook for 6 minutes (it will still be tough but just nice to cook them later). Put some olive oil in the container/or pot with cover to store them and covered to maintain the heat. Prep for Tomatoes boil water, put tomatoes to boil for 2-3 minutes for easy removal of skin and diced them and set aside Prep for Potatoe boil water, put one big potatoe to boil till semi-soft then diced in cubes and set aside Prep for Meat Dice meat into cubes then marinate with salt and pepper and set aside Prep for Garlic 3 clovers finely chopped Cooking Methods: prepare frying pan and put 1 tablespoon of olive oil or any cooking oil when heated up; 1) fry the pine nuts and set aside 2) fry the diced potatoes and set aside (add oil if necessary) 3) fry the diced meat and set aside 4) put in additional oil and put in the chopped garlic to fry awhile them put in the diced tomatoes, white wine, add-in salt, sugar, pepper to taste, Itlalian herb and half bowl of warm water then put in the Tagliatelle All”uovo and mixed well (ensure there is sufficient sauce) cover to simmer it for 2-3 minutes. 5) open the cover and add-in the meat and pine nuts, mix well and is ready to serve….tasted yummy! Suggestion: you may also put some other vegetables if you like. Posted by Mom
The grocery trip about 3 hours ago with @bonjourscom & sam where we hatched the idea for Chef Cheoks!
Honestly we are not sure when we can actually start Chef Cheoks officially but we hope mom is happy with her kitchen still when we lose our miad next year & that Sam & I pick up cooking basics from now till then. We’ll try to work out some pre-debut stuff whenever we can & see how things goes from there!
